As you are a valued Fraser Technologies Customer, we feel it’s important to keep you informed of changes we make to help improve our services to you.
As such we have updated our Privacy Policy in line with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that was implemented across Europe in May 2018.
We’ve updated the Privacy Policy to be clearer about the data we collect, store and use and the reasons why. Plus, we provide details on your rights in determining how your personal data is processed and how you can make such decisions and changes.
Personal data
By definition personal data relates to information that identifies an individual – such as name, unique reference number, IP address, cookie identifier or similar.
We may use your information to make you aware of product updates, offers which might be of interest to you, notify you of changes to our services, or give you access to content from industry experts. We will require your information to process orders, payments and deliveries and any other contractual obligations.
We collect your data from email and telephone enquiries, sales meetings/interactions, customer support, exhibition enquiries, order forms, social media, website analytics, business cards, and surveys. You have the right to opt-out of receiving communications from us and can do so by following the instruction for opt-out in the relevant communication.
Your data is stored at Fraser Technologies and is not shared with any 3rd parties unless to fulfil an order/delivery. We would ensure any such companies are compliant with data protection legislation. We will never share or sell your personal data with any third party that intends to use it for direct marketing purposes.
We use Maximizer CRM Software, Sage Line 50 software, Microsoft outlook application and email campaign software to store and send emails. Your data is securely held in the best available systems, accurately compiled and readily available for its intended purpose only. Our systems are frequently assessed for suitability of purpose, with tightly controlled access by a small number of fully trained staff members.
Data is stored for as long as we have a legitimate business reason for keeping it. We review this annually. We also do not routinely transfer or store any personal data outside of the EEA.
We may disclose your information to third parties in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets during a re-structuring, in which case, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets and/or if Fraser Technologies or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case, personal data held by it about our customers will be one of the transferred assets. Please note that this also includes potential transfers between Fraser Technologies group companies.
You have the right to request information about what data we hold, how your data is collected, stored, processed, and deleted. You have the right to request we stop communicating with you. We aim to reply to any such requests within 28 days. You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Regulator if we believe we are not compliant.
